By the first door is a fire extinguisher. This level introduces no new mechanics but does everything to defy your expectations.Īs usual, you wake up in your suite, but the outside is different. This will give you more room to create a dollhouse large enough to enter. To make entering the dollhouse easier, use the doors to go small after getting the blueprint. Go inside to reach the end of the level, with the usual fire alarm and extinguisher. In the centre of the room is a dollhouse on a chair. On a wall is a punch clock with a blueprint on top of it. Turn around and use the fire extinguisher by the room entrance. You will end up in a beige room with a locked door and button. Around the corner is another extinguisher on the wall on the right. In the purple hallway, use the fire extinguisher by the side of the door. This is the seventh vending machine and there are a total of seven soda flavors to collect, so vending machines will not be mentioned going forward. As always there is a vending machine in this area. You once again wake up in the suite, so remember to use the fire alarm and extinguisher. This level goes back to the puzzle formula and introduces a new mechanic: cloning. In the corridor with the elevator, find the fire alarm next to the door and the fire extinguisher next to the elevator. If you don’t have the can and are stuck on the side of the blueprint, reload the checkpoint to be brought back in front of the generator with the blueprint still marked as collected. Climb the shelves next to the wall and use the can to climb through the open window on the side of the kitchen, behind which is a chess piece. Use the can again to reach the other side of the room. Behind them close to the door you came from is a blueprint. Grab a can of Fieth’s BEANS ™ from the kitchen and use it to get over the shelves on the right and bring the can with you to the other side. At the end of the room is an IDEA generator. Right before this room is a fire extinguisher. You will eventually reach a room with lots of shelves. *** Spoiler - click to reveal *** Grab the exit sign and enlarge it to light up the adjacent room and reveal the exit. Put a soda can in the wrong place instead of recycling On the left of it is a garbage can and a recycling bin. Get a can from it and bring it back to the desk room. Past the desk is a waiting room with a vending machine. Right before it is a fire alarm and extinguisher on the wall on the left. You will arrive at a desk with a computer. This level is, as the name suggests, all about optical illusions but the concepts from the previous level still apply and will be needed to progress. In the next room is a panel with a painted sky and behind it is a blueprint, which is another kind of collectible. Ignore instructions on picture and use the vent for faster/easier reliability. If you start falling down the pit you should immediately pause and return to checkpoint. You can go back to the original location of the cheese to get a new one if you drop it in the pit. But yeah if it affects gameplay in a bad way then it should def get improved It doesn't matter much if you just want to finish the story, but if you're trying something difficult like to get certain achievements or reach collectibles or secrets it can be really frustrating.Instead of jumping in the pit, use the cheese to get on top of the vents leading across the gap. It kinda fits the context of being in a dream. I actually didn't mind objects behaving weird sometimes. I would still like to see some features added to the first one, like a room (like the place at the main menu) where you can play with all the eggs you've found so far, or being able to skip to a specific challenge in Challenge mode. But yeah if it affects gameplay in a bad way then it should def get improvedīut they're still adding updates to the first installment, so I suppose a sequel isn't on their mind at the moment. As much as I like Superliminal, I hope for a smoother experience next time, especially if there's going to be something similar to the chess piece hunt.īut they're still adding updates to the first installment, so I suppose a sequel isn't on their mind at the moment. Or add helpful things like a shadow to help you see the exact spot where you're standing. Fix glitches like the fact that objects can behave irrationally, bouncing around wildly and whatnot, or even outright disappearing.
